16-bit Kickstarter RPG reaches stretch goals.

Liege, Coda Games’ Kickstarter-funded 16-bit RPG, has reached its stretch goals for PlayStation 4, PS Vita, Linux, and Wii U ports.

With $52,800 currently funded to the project, only two stretch goals remain: the “elaborate, multi-stage playable sequence” known as “The Burning City” at $58,000, and the “significant” art upgrade dubbed “Art v2.0” at $67,000.

The Liege Kickstarter campaign ends in three days.

It’s really awesome that the game will be available on multiple platforms. Congrats to Coda Games and everyone (me) who backed Liege. =)

My comment went pending, can you please approve it?

Sure thing. Sorry for delayed response.

    It’s $53K now =)
By the way, folks. In case you hate going through Amazon in order to pledge for Kickstarter, there is also PayPal option (link below):

Remember that Liege will be trilogy and you will be able to get ALL of them (plus digital soundtracks and artbooks) if you pledge $25. So pledge away people, the closer we get to Art 2.0 the more likely it will be for the amount coming through PayPal to make up for the difference after the campaign ends (PayPal will go on for at least a month.)

Hail to the true classics of J-RPGs.

Glad the indies still have their hearts in the right place. Good on them, hope they do well.

I hope that in a couple years Japan gets into the Indie scene as well and starts using Kickstarter to release JRPGs on platforms as well.

I’m glad that it is finally funded. I backed the game but as I mention before, I really suck at this kind of game. But this game is too good to pass up. Eventhough, I will definitely get my ass kicked.

Ah, awesome! I think I might like this actually.

I gave them 50 bucks. I look forward to playing this on the Vita.

We just officially hit the stretch goal for Burning City, and now onward toward Art v2.0. Man, pledges really are coming in like mad and the project is not even at the 48 hours rush yet.

  • bloodiOS

And it is done! Art v2.0 is now unlocked! With all the stretch goals now successfully achieved, I’m looking forward to seeing the final amount ends up being quintuple the original goal. Add in the fact PayPal is still ongoing, there is plenty of juice to fuel the the next two entries of the trilogy.

      Indeed. ^^
