Level-5 teases Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney localization
Plus, Akihiro Hino on a seventh Professor Layton game.![](https://www.gematsu.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Hino-Teases-PvAA-Local-320x192.jpg)
At Japan Expo this weekend, Level-5 boss Akihiro Hino held a panel where he teased a potential localization for Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney.
The question “Will Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney be released in France?” appeared on Hino’s PowerPoint, to which he responded, “Something is in the making, but I can not tell you today. Be patient.” (France is singled out because Japan Expo is held in France.)
Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney first launched for 3DS in Japan on November 29, 2012.
Hino also answered the question, “Will there be a new trilogy of the adventures of Professor Layton?” He responded, “If a seventh game was to be born one day, it probably won’t be the Layton we know today.”
The sixth Professor Layton game, Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, is set for a European release in late 2013 and North American release in 2014.
Thanks, Nintendo Town.
