Ensure the balance remains in favor of the Vektans.

Sony and Guerrilla Games have shared a new trailer teasing the story of Killzone: Shadow Fall, coming to PlayStation 4 as a launch title this holiday season.

Here’s a blurb:

Although they’ve shared the same planet for thirty years, the Vektans and the Helghast are now on the brink of war. With both factions eager to protect their home and reclaim what they believe is theirs, trust has reached an all-time low. The wall built to separate both sides can no longer contain the enemy.

As a Shadow Marshal, you serve under Vektan Security Agency director Sinclair, who has you perform the difficult missions that ensure the balance remains tipped in favor of the Vektans. But Echo, an intelligence operative for the Helghast, has similar orders – and she will stop at nothing to accomplish them.

That story blurb makes it sound like we may finally get to play as the helghast.

  • xMCXx

    A female Helghast.
    Is this a first?

    • bloodiOS

Visari’s daughter showed up in the intro of the Killzone 3.

      • xMCXx

I still have to play Killzone 2 and 3. :p

    • Luna Kazemaru

    I didn’t understand anything.

But the female Helghast was AWESOME.

Also the graphics, holy smokes… those are stunning.

Just bought a $250 GPU, pulls 2.2 TFlops.

    PS4 GPU pulls 1.84 TFlops…

I say we’re getting a good deal on graphics…. and it shows wow.

Is this a prequel? Or an actual sequel?
    Because I like Sev.

Chronological sequel in the game universe(ISA set up a Berlin Wall situation with the Helghast after the ending of Killzone 3), pretty sure it follows another soldier though.

      • AnimusVox

        Ah I see. Thanks.

    • Elvick

      It’s 30 years after Killzone 3.

      • AnimusVox

Oh wow I didn’t know it was that far ito the future. I didn’t get to finish Killzone 3.
Thank you also for the reply.
