God Eater 2 will launch for PS Vita and PSP in Japan on November 14, the latest issue of Famitsu reveals.
A demo will be released on July 25 for PS Vita and on August 1 for PSP. Players will be able to create a character, and data from the demo can be carried over to the retail version. That data includes your character, Aragami parts, and items.
Multiple versions of the game are being planned. They include:
- “PlayStation Vita x God Eater 2 Fenrir Edition” – Price TBA – Includes the game, a custom-designed PS Vita, cleaning cloth, and strap.
- “God Eater 2 Famitsu DX Pack” (PSV or PSP) – 8,980 yen – Includes the game, a stuffed poppet, three A3 clear posts, God Eater 2014 calendar, and shot glass (Friar & Fenrir).
- “God Eater 2 Lala Bit Market Special Version Blood Enlistment Set” (PSV or PSP) – 8,980 yen – Includes the game, a God Eater 2-branded bangle-type ring (available in men’s 21 and women’s 11), Flyer Emblem foil special-make box, and six tin badges.
In other news, Famitsu introduces a new songstress character, Yuno Ashihara (voiced by Houko Kuwashima), and reveals Yu-yu will sing the game’s main theme.
A western version of God Eater 2 has not been announced.
Thanks, Sinobi.
