Continue your game playing on the go.

Square Enix has confirmed Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster will support cross-saves between PlayStation 3 and PS Vita at Japan Expo in France.

That means you’ll be able to play on PlayStation 3 and continue your game on the go with PS Vita.

The publisher also confirmed the 30-minute audio drama announced in Jump this week, which will be available after the game’s credits.

Thanks, Total Manga.

Except you’ll need to buy a vita copy and a ps3 copy right? Because they’re separate???

    That costs $$$$

    • Alos88

I was planning on getting both versions if this was the case, think of it this way; you can grind on the go and it will add towards the possibility of a FFXII HD remaster,

      • Souter

I would rather have Crisis Core HD remastered =3

        • Michael Garling

          Can’t we just have both!

          • Budgiecat

and Dissidia HD and Final Fantasy Type Zero HD!

HD for everyone! *throws flowers in the air*

            • LordKaiser

Every PSP and Vita RPG ported to HD if possible!!! FTW!!!! ^^

    • Elvick

So? Don’t want both, don’t buy both.

It’s not like SE is losing out on you not buying both. Since you’d clearly not buy both, and getting one for free wouldn’t be buying it. So…

  • Gigus

Still hoping for cross-buy but that will be unlikely :/

  • Nice Boat

1, 2, 3. TEACH US HOW TO BLITZ!

…Now that I think of it most of those guys died

  • Tony

Does “audio drama” mean its only audio… without visuals? O_o

    • MosquitoLemon

Yeah, audio dramas are pretty popular in Japan, often included as bonus materials in first print runs of games (or anime DVDs, etc.). Sounds like this one will just be slapped into the game Metal Gear Solid style.

      • Michael Garling

I don’t recall a Metal Gear Solid audio drama, what am I forgetting here?

        • MosquitoLemon

Spoilers, but at the end of the original Metal Gear Solid (and maybe one of the others?), after the credits, there was a very long conversation. This article is suggesting something similar.

  • KIngpigeon96

Crap, I read that as supports cross-buy.

  • Rafael Martines

    LoL 4 Platinum Trophies o/

  • kenshee

In the last article it just said drama instead of audio drama…
I had a feeling it’d be just audio, but was hoping I was wrong, haha.

Especially if they’re not even the voices I’m all nostalgic for.

  • Anime10121

And AUDIO DRAMA sees my excitement drop considerably. :(

    • Skeletor

You know they didnt have to include anything new right?

They redid the graphics in HD and the games are the international versions which contain lots of content the US and EUR never got originally.

      • Anime10121

You misunderstand, I’m not saying my excitement for the game is dropping, just my excitement for the 30 minute episode.

Had the game preordered long before the audio drama was announced and I’m still excited for the remaster proper, just less so about the audio drama.

  • Elvick

I want to know if it’s retail on Vita. D:

I’d buy both in a heartbeat. I want it on my Vita, but I don’t want digital only… (aside from the fact I’m still rocking a 4GB) I just don’t like digital only releases of retail games.

    But cross save is nice.

    • Skeletor

altho McPoo despises people like us for being excited about this game, I agree. I will buy retail for every version as well. Cant wait to play through FFX again and I am excited to finally finish X2

      • McPoo

  • artemisthemp

I am so happy, that I can continue playing FFX on my Vita, when I leave the house :).

However Square Enix need to confirm Vita will get a retail release as having a Retail version don’t carry as must weight as Square Enix or Nova Crystallium saying it.

I hope this sells lots as i want to get my greedy hands on FFXII HD for vita.

    • Budgiecat

But FF Type Zero HD is better

    • Kenneth Richardson

I would do anything for FFXII HD, on the Vita or the PS3

    • SOLOmio

they should’v done XII first. since it doesn’t need a battle system recreation for new consoles and stuff. the only thing i don’t like is the main hero(vaan) being a support character.

  • Gilgamesh2025

    Nice! :D

  • Budgiecat

Wait…..30 minute … drama? So just listening to people talk but no visual presentation?? wut

    • Hidayat246

are u never heard Drama CD ????

      better hope for fan-translations

  • Skerj

Looks like I’m buying it on both systems then, I just waaaaant Type 0.

    • MrRobbyM

      RIP Type-0 localization

      • Skeletor

At least I’ll always have the JPN demo on my PsPGo to remind me of the FF that never was in NA.

      • LordKaiser

It still have a window of release. Have some hope.

      • SOLOmio

that game looked so fab! what happened?

  • PrinceHeir

    awesome stuff!!!!

i might buy the Vita version maybe in a few years now!
