Oh my god, a shark! Kill it before it kills you!

Straight from this past weekend’s Comic-Con in San Diego, Ubisoft has released new screenshots and artwork of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, showing assassin hero Captain Edward Kenway, his ship The Jackdaw, underwater exploration, shark attacks, pub chats, and more.

Fighting a shark from a boat is really cool, but underwater… historically video games haven’t done too well with underwater anything.

The Last of Us sure as hell does… Though that isn’t quite as complex as fighting a shark.

To be fair, it’s probably just QTEs or a similar minigame.

I literally know nothing about the Assassin’s Creed franchise (or The Last of Us, to be honest), is it a QTE-fest?

          not really

It’s like Prince of Persia. Sorta. It plays kinda like Prince of Persia. With all the platforming elements. It also has more graphic action and open world gameplay. The story is very different. It has science fiction elements mixed in with real (altered) history.

Sorta tough to explain I suppose.

I’d like to lodge an official complain regarding the sub header for this article.

Animal cruelty is no laughing matter, and sharks are beautiful, majestic beasts of the ocean.

I’ll be speaking to PETA about this.
