I am absolutely beside myself. And you know what? I actually have faith that someone will bring it over. Horrible, misguided faith…

edit – hell, if they do bring it over and I for some reason don’t have a 3DS at that point, it’s a day one purchase with the system. These titles are the last refuge of good JRPGs.

Well no one brought 3 over…
Maybe it will get a fan translation one day.

Don’t give a crap about fan translations, I can read Japanese fine. The problem is that the 3DS is region locked.

Even though 3 or 2:Reloaded never got released outside of Japan, I think 4 has a shot because a lot of publishers and localization teams take risks at the beginning of a console’s lifespan. I think the Metal Saga DS spinoff game (from a long while ago) was slated to come here at one point, but got cancelled.

edit – didn’t mean for that to sound angry, but I’m still upset about the region locking… There have been a few surprise localizations for 3DS though, so we can hope for more to come.

Excluding metal saga, none of these game were ever localized but maybe there’s a first time for everything.

I first read this as “Mad Max 4: Moonlight Diva”, and was automatically hyped.

    Very disappointed now…

It is inspired by Mad Max. People with mohawks and leather in tanks and on motorcycles fighting in an apocalyptic wasteland.
