Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl is coming to 3DS in North America this fall, Atlus has announced.
The game will feature an expanded story mode, which is a “journey to unravel the mystery of the Yggdrasil Tree’s origins,” and a classic mode, which is an update of the original Etrian Odyssey.
Both will have updated graphics, Street Pass functionality and gameplay “conveniences”.
A first for the Etrian Odyssey series, the game will have a story mode, which casts five pre-made characters with personalities and dialogue.
“Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl is so much more than a remake,” said Index Digital Media’s VP of sales and marketing Tim Pivnicny. “The Atlus team went above and beyond to create a full-length story mode that really explores the world of Etria.”
Pivnicny also said that the updated gameplay from Eterian Odyssey IV will help make the game “approachable” for new players.
The game will arrive at retail and on Nintendo eShop simultaneously.
