  • Solomon_Kano

Fuck yes. Sold, sold, sold. I’ll be importing the hell outta this!

    • Strid

Heh, I couldn’t contain my coarse language with this either in my Siliconera comment. This will be in my home, damn the price.

  • Raiyu

I totally forgot this game was coming out.

  • Zuhri69

    Any chance it’ll be localised?

    • MrKappa

      LMAO! Oh wait… you weren’t joking? :/

    • DrForbidden

      I’ll have to say, “No.”

But we can still hope, I suppose.

    • Teh Blasterz

      Never say never I say

  • new_tradition

That special edition looks amazing. Expensive, but amazing as heck. Hope there’s a larger version of that box art online soon~

And DLC code? Hrmmm…Wonder what that could entail?

EDIT: Oh wait, the music CD isn’t going to be the original game OST? Awww D:

Although I wager it will be awesome enough to just sell stand alone xD

EDIT 2: Whoa, I’ve been sleeping under a rock. There’s a new character named Five on the official site

EDIT 3: Whee, a slightly bigger version of that box art in this ad from the official site ♥

    • DrForbidden

Nah, you haven’t been under a rock. Five was just revealed. Her tagline (over on Famitsu) is “Please touch my breasts. It helps their growth.” o_0

      • new_tradition

Haha, whoa. That’s one upfront lady xD

      • AnimusVox

        Ahaha well it is true.

      • Charlie

        Good ol’ Japan!

      • DyLaN

        >_> <_< I wouldn't mind if Zero wants to touch it….

  • Unknown

and not a single gameplay footage

    • Raiyu

I was just about to say the same thing.

  • DrForbidden

I would be more interested in a 10th Anniversary Commemoration Box that included HD-ports of the first 2 games, to be honest. This just seems… I dunno. Half-arsed? :/ Especially for 20,000 yen…

Also, I was expecting the game to be priced lower than most standard releases, kind of like how Deadpool is $50, given the lower production values of Drakengard 3. 8,000 yen is ridiculously expensive for a regular edition PS3 game, most of which have an SRP of around 7,000 yen at launch.

Just what the hell is SE playing at here?

  • bloodiOS

Sure hope the 10th Anniversary Commemoration Box is available if the game ever get localized.

By the way, I can’t get over how similar One is to Mana…

    • Anime10121

And man was Mana awesome! Liked her more as a kid though, she was more memorable being that psycho little kid from the first game to me :P

  • Pekola

Can we please get a limited edition run for the special edition and a bigger but still limited run for the normal one?

    Pretty please, Square?

Operation Saltfall? anyone…*sobs in a corner*

    • Teh Blasterz

Heh, best chance to get the game localized would probably be to get as many fans (old, new and potential) as possible to get orgnaized. Doing so would be our best bet, as Yoko Taro has said. Only question would be is, how the hell would we get organized? Fans are all over the place

  • Anime10121

And now for the western announcement…

    please :{

October 31 huh… i guess a trailer isn’t that far off now and with TGS coming up it almost certain.

as long as they don’t cut content and butcher the character im all for it

We’ve requested that it be released uncensored and if it had to be scened – that they do it to the same degree as the other previously released titles within the series (in that they changed out parts of the dialogue to get the same point across but didn’t outright say it in contrast to the original Drakengard, which was also censored for possible religious issues (Church of Angels became Cult of Watchers and so-on). and NieR had two different versions providing two differing perspectives on everything as well).
