Dragon’s Dogma is coming to PS Vita this fall in the form of a free-to-play 2D action RPG called Dragon’s Dogma Quest, this week’s Famitsu reveals.
The game will have a large amount of towns, villages, dungeons, monsters, and sub-quests, and over 150 jobs. Parties of eight can be formed between four of your own Pawns and four of your friends’ Pawns. There will be micro-transactions to assist players who don’t have much time to play. The player acts as an “Arisen” who commands and level up Pawns in battle.
In the director’s chair is Masanori Komine, and the executive director is Hideaki Itsuno. According to Itsuno, this is just the first step in a new concept for Capcom.
Thanks, Game Jouhou.
