Plenty of time to prepare for death.

Dark Souls II, Namco Bandai and From Software’s anticipated sequel to 2011’s Dark Souls, will launch for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in March 2014, an advert outside the Los Angeles Convention Center—the site of this month’s E3—confirms.

If you missed it back in April, catch 12 minutes of Dark Souls II gameplay footage here, and a one-minute gameplay trailer here.

Next year will be great for RPG fans
    The witcher 3 – Dragon age 3
Deep Down – Lords of the fallen
Dark souls 2 and maybe Fallout 4.

Hopefully a great year for JRPG fans too.

HD version of Tales of Symphonia

Early on they were trying to aim for late 2013. I hope this means that they can make the game perfect and not cut any content like they did with Dark Souls.

Well that’s my birth month. Birthday present here I come.

Me too, though most likely the release date won’t be March 1st so I guess I’ll just hold off a bit…sniff.

So you look forward to death as your birthday present?

      That sounded cruel, doesn’t it?

    Ready to die some more.

yay that means more develope time :D

    Demon Souls 2009>>Dark Souls 2011

so it’s much better to have a longer development :P

Why don’t they make a port for next-gen consoles while they’re at it? I can’t imagine it’ll be all that complicated now with the next-gen systems being ever closer to PC architecture. Being able to do PvP in 1080p at a constant 60FPS would be great, you know.

I hope it comes to Next Gen

  • Locksus

I’ll most likely get this for PC because it’s the lead platform this time around.

  • xMCXx

I really wish they’d make this for Next Gen, too, considering the framerate in Demon’s and Dark Souls dropped pretty heavily at times.

  • Ace

They should have called it Darker Souls.

So if Dark Souls 2 is March 2014, I wonder when Symphonia is, probably April or May. Either way I’m going to echo other’s sentiments and wish it was also available for 8th gen platforms too.
