Capcom: Deep Down “has nothing to do with Dragon’s Dogma”

No reason to think it's Dragon's Dogma 2 now.

Since its announcement at February’s PlayStation 4 reveal event, many have assumed Deep Down, Capcom‘s next-gen action RPG running on its new Panta Rhei engine, is actually a sequel to Dragon’s Dogma. This does not appear to be the case.

“[Dead Rising 3] and Deep Down have nothing to do with Dragon’s Dogma,” Capcom senior VP Christian Svensson said on the Capcom Unity forums.

Well. That should settle that then.
