Huh, has Ninty ever attended TGS?

    • Bryce Blalex Douglas

They haven’t in the past couple years I think or at least they didn’t last year either

      • Locksus

I see. Thanks for the response.

  • Rafael Martines

    SNK Play More? XD

  • http://www.senran-international.boards.net/ TwinTails

So is this like a Japanese E3? Then I expect to see what kind of good 3rd party games they have to show us.

  • z_merquise

Looks like SNK will attend this TGS for real.

It’s been like 4-5 years since they last appeared at TGS. I hope for something promising from them this time.

Arc Sys is in there too. Do developers show arcade games in TGS? Because I’m also hoping for more Guilty Gear updates there.

    • SuperLuigi

Capcom vs snk 3?! I wish

    • PrinceHeir

maybe the new KOF game they were showing?

      http://www.snkplaymore.co.jp/employment/

shame we haven’t had any Samurai Shodown games :(

      • z_merquise

Too early for that but we’ll never know.

shame we haven’t had any Samurai Shodown games :(
        Sigh. Yeah.

  • DesmaX

    No Atlus, that’s sad.

Oh well, at least Falcom will be there… Wonder if they’ll show a new Ys

  • OverlordZetta

    >Medabot Company
Please please please be on something region free.

  • bloodiOS

Nice looking list there! This year’s TGS is going to be amazing.

By the way, has anyone seen Mark Cerny’s “The Road To The PS4” presentation? It provides a lot of interesting info.

  • ocaritna

I actually wanna see Asia New Stars Corner tbh. I think they can bring new fresh idea to the game industries. But we’ll see !

  • https://twitter.com/RyoonZ RyoonZ

    Ctrl+F tri-Ace, found nothing.
    Noooooooooooooooooo

    • Anime10121

I know right! I want my next gen Tri Ace game using that beautiful engine they made a few years back!

Also, where the hell is Konami in the Third Party list, I see them in the family corner, but MGSV is not a family corner type of game! It better be there, I needs my (new) MGSV trailer!

      • PrinceHeir

        Valkyrie Profile 3 Hrist!!!!!

    • bloodiOS

It’s almost baffling that there isn’t a single project announced for home consoles after they showed off that gorgeous tech demo running in real-time on PS3 and Xbox 360 (they were involved somewhat with FFXIII-2 but… that isn’t their project so it doesn’t count.) All the while, Beyond The Labyrinth, the only one out of all of their recent projects that I’m interested in, is pretty much stuck in Japan… I wonder if I’m going to have wait till this year’s CEDEC in order to get some update on their works…

  • epy

Look at all the developers that will dazzle us with their iOS and GREE titles!

  • MosquitoLemon

No Acquire or Spike Chunsoft!?! I know Acquire at least has something in the works.

    • sherimae1324

i think aquire and spike are owned by gung-ho right?

      • MosquitoLemon

True, Acquire is. SpikeChunsoft is it’s own thing though (Spike has just published Acquire games in the past… or vice-versa, I don’t remember)

  • Willgaea

Deep Down all I’m waiting for is Capcom.

    • MosquitoLemon

don’t they usually have their own ‘capcom summer jam’ event?

      • Willgaea

Well they are taking 3 spots at TGS. So I’m happy.

  • Chippy

    Google I Choose You!

  • Akimitsu

I wonder if Microsoft will officially announce the Xbox One for Japan, considering it wasn’t on their list of confirmed countries before.

  • Gilgamesh2025

    Can’t wait! >.<

  • Фультраер Шестого Вознесения

    But where is Nintendo?

  • bleach630

    WTF! Where is Nintendo?!

  • LastBoss

    Falcom & SNKP

I truly hoped we’d get some Image epoch luv?!

Also I would kill for a:

SNKP vs SEGA or SNK vs Shonen

  • Hidayat246

    where is nintendo ???

  • Pekola

Someone give us a launch JRPG for PS4.

  • OlimacFTW

It seems Nintendo will be absent from TGS again. Well there´s always a Nintendo Direct around that date.

  • DongT

no atlus eh? i thought for sure we’d hear something p5 related at tgs, guess not :(

    • Belenger

Well considering the parent company filled for bankrupcy, it’s safe to say there’s no more Persona or whatever new stuff related until Atlus gets bought by someone else, think of what happened early this year with THQ and their studios. the hole Index made was so big that even the release of SMT4 didnt take a dent on it.

      • DongT

i pray to god that whoever ends up buying Atlus isn’t 1st party like Sony or Nintendo or worse Microsoft, i’d hate to see SMT games getting tied down to one console especially if its for one i don’t own.

        • Belenger

Indeed but I would be more worried if Index tries to claws onto this brand, cant say I like the company decisions.

      • AlexanderPappas

        Atlus recently registered Persona5.jp

  • http://twitter.com/Nates4Christ Nate

I’m curious what Microsoft will doe there. I think they said they are not going to have the new xbox in Japan for a while.

I’m hoping for news on a next gen Gundam Game, Gundam Breaker PsVita Release Date, Gundam Extreme Vs Full Boost console release with 4 player split screen.

I’m on the fence between an xbox one and ps4 but if they have a mind blowing Gundam game for the ps4 I might rush out and buy one. Gundam 0081 is probably my favorite game this generation.

    • $3582264

They will let those japanese know that they cant have an xbone.

  • $3582264

SNK where are youuuuuuuu…. ahhhh there you are! Could have yelled or something :p

  • http://gematsu.com/author/ro-kurorai 浪黒雷 (Roland Gmyrek)

Lots of social and mobile games. I wonder when that bubble’s gonna burst :P

I’m wondering what MS are gonna show at TGS. Xbone is hardly an appealing product for the regular Japanese apartment (mandatory Kinect requires quite the spacious room i.o. to function properly). Maybe we’ll see an official release date and pricing (this gun’ be good) for the Japanese model. I’m most excited for new Vita announcements (more and more Japanese devs are starting to develop for it) and some sweet Japanese game announcements for PS4. JRPGs were kinda at a premium on PS3, I hope this changes with PS4.

  • Adol Christin

I hope its not Quantity over Quality.

  • artemisthemp

I am kinda suprise to see Microsoft ad Tokyo Game Show, considering the Xbox One first launch in Asia in 2014.

BTW anyone know who Prototype is?

  • yov023

Any possibility of a MGS V release date ?
