The Last of Us will receive three post-launch expansion packs, Sony has announced.
One of the packs is a single-player add-on that tells more of The Last of Us‘ story. The other two packs consist of multiplayer content in the form of additional maps and other expansions. (Naughty Dog will share more multiplayer details “over the next couple of days.”)
If you purchase the game’s season pass, you’ll lock in all three packs for $19.99, which saves you 30 percent compared to purchasing each pack individually.
Buy the season pass at your local GameStop when you pick up The Last of Us on June 14, and you’ll also get the following day one bonuses:
- Increased Crafting Speed
- Increased Healing Speed
- 9mm Reload Speed Upgrade
- Rifle Clip Capacity Upgrade
- Grounded – exclusive 90min “Making of The Last of Us” documentary
Additionally, the digital edition of The Last of Us is now available for pre-order on PlayStation Network. It will be released on June 14 at midnight, and uses a unique download installer that lets you begin playing once the game data is a little over half-way downloaded.
