Series' favorite multiplayer mode returns.

The Ubisoft Toronto-developed sequel is due out for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC on August 20.

YES This is exactly what I wanted.

Well they just secured my purchase, I didn’t think I’d miss this mode as much as I do. I guess it’s because since we can no longer play MGO, there’s not much in the way of online stealth action.

What a suprise this game has a MP too, i did´t no. No i unsure too buy this game. If the Singel Player mode are only 5-8 Hours (like Metal Gear Rising) so there can keep it.

Just finally watched this even though I saw the article when it was posted… Simply put, this game is back on my list. When I saw the recent trailers with Sam looking young and sounding funny, I wasn’t so sure I wanted this game anymore. After seeing this trailer, even if I don’t enjoy the story mode, I’m definitely going to love Spies vs Mercs. I’m all over this :D

I know your sentiment, the multiplayer mode is looking quite interesting. It’s a Splinter Cell take on classic “Assault” multiplayer and I like that the two parties used don’t seem boring to play as. I know for example in Killzone, I vastly prefer Helghast and dislike ISA but here, I think I’d be okay alternating sides for a good experience.

Agreed. Normally I tend to pick sides (even if the difference is merely cosmetic) but in this case, both sides have their respective pros and cons, and both sound very enjoyable. Here’s hoping for a little demo before the game’s release.
