Atlus updated the official Shin Megami Tensei IV website today with seven new gameplay videos showing various aspects of the upcoming 3DS RPG.

We’ve done our combining thing and attached the clips below.

This first video shows Demon Growth, Whisper Events, Card Exchange via the Digital Devil (StreetPass) Service, and Challenge Quests.

And the second clip shows Barrows the Fairy, Demon Growth via the Digital Devil Serve, and Samurai Missions.

Read details on each subject here.

Shin Megami Tensei IV is due out on May 23 in Japan, July 16 in North America, and on an unannounced date in Europe.

      Love that design! Look badass!

Nope, that’s Frost Ace. I believe he’s been around since SMT: Devil Children. He has such an awesome design!

      • Haku_Luvs_You

he does! I thought it was a frost made out of metal at first lol

        • Eclipse

Lol, I thought the same thing when I first saw him.

I personally think that Lucifroz/Lucifer Frost is the most hilarious variation of him.

    Super excited!

    I pre-ordered two copies… Just in case.

I did as well, but mine was an accident. I pre-ordered one while I was here at school, then realized the game comes out during the summer and I won’t be here -_- I was being stupid the day lol.

      • Zackasaur

        lolol Sorry about that.

I pre-ordered my copy through Amazon, but I can’t forget losing my limited edition of Dark Souls to a screwup when I ordered it through Newegg… So I went ahead and ALSO pre-ordered at my local GameStop.

On the bright side, I guess I can pick it up day-one at GameStop and then return the Amazon copy to GameStop with my GameStop receipt a few days later, unless I sell it instead.

The low-ish levels in the party suggests you can do missions right away ^^
