Nice to see the Vita selling well.

So the Vita and Wii U took a big hit.
I hope that’ll change when the big guns roll out.

Vita’s sale is expected. Without any game recently, there are hardly chances to make a breakthrough.

Is that image from Summon Night 5?

    Nvm… yes it is.

I wish Summon Nights 5 also had a Vita release, at least then it would have somewhat of a chance for localization. SN is a good SRPG series that the west has been missing out on forever. :(

I don’t know why but it seems that people from Gematsu are against posting news about Summon Night, but this time was kind of inevitable…

  • Watahashi

Wow, everything except the PSP had a pretty big drop, and only really because of Summon Night. I guess post-post Golden Week is a thing?

Next week we have Shin Megami Tensei 4, Valhalla Knights 3 and some new games for the PS3. It’s going to be more interesting.

Japanese sales are so weak this gen. 127 million people in Japan compared to 327 million in North America; but still those sales should be higher.

Even Pokemon hasn’t beaten Tomb Raider sales and TR was considered a disappointment by S-E ridiculous expectations…and even giants like Drago Quest barely hit 500K in their last game (despite it being an MMO)

I think Japanese people don’t really like to play games anymore. Maybe the whole Otaku/Fujoshi thing has finally embarrassed them to the point of self realization
