Level-5 has released a new gameplay trailer and screenshots for Yokai Watch, its new 3DS RPG due out on July 11 in Japan.
The game revolves around a young boy named Keita who, while searching for rare insects in the forest, happens upon a ghost butler named Whisper and obtains a strange watch that allows him to see other ghosts.
Players will also be able to select a female character named Fumi-chan.
Gameplay-wise, the game consists of running about the city of Newtown undertaking quests in the form of favors (perhaps involving the actions of a ghost?), and discovering, capturing, and battling ghosts. Fishing and bug-catching are also possible.
