Avalanche's rumored game to be titled 'World Gone Mad'?

Warner Bros. recently registered three domains for what appears to be a Mad Max video game.

The domains, discovered by internet super sleuth superannuation, include MadMaxGame.com, MadMaxTheGame.com, and WorldGoneMadLegendOfMax.com.

Avalanche Studios, the developer behind Square Enix’s Just Cause series, has been oft rumored to be developing a Mad Max game for next-generation consoles. The studio is currently working on two projects. One unannounced sandbox action game in a “very well-known game series” for Square Enix (Just Cause 3) and another open-world action game for an unannounced publisher based on a “well-known movie license” (Mad Max).

Studio boss Christofer Sundberg has previously suggested we’ll hear more about Avlanche’s unannounced projects at E3 in June.

I don’t know who this joker is, but he’s not the Mad Max I grew up with. Get Mel Gibson to voice the main and even model the main after him too. Give me a game based on the 80’s version and I’ll be interested :3

    • Knygt

wait, they are not using Gibson?

If you’re referring to the picture of the article, that is Mel Gibson.

So no Just cause 3 :(
Damn. I want it so bad.

      ?

The article says they’re working on two projects. They’ve already hinted that one is Just Cause 3, so now it’s being speculated that the other project Avalanche mentioned will be this Mad Max game.
