Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami and Tango Gameworks‘ new horror game, previously known by its code-name Zwei, is called The Evil Within and is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and next-generation consoles in 2014, publisher Bethesda has announced.
“We’re incredibly proud to announce The Evil Within,” said Mikami. “My team and I are committed to creating an exciting new franchise, providing fans the perfect blend of horror and action.”
More information will be revealed at IGN on Monday, April 22. Today, however, IGN has gone live with the debut trailer and screenshots, which we’ve embedded below.
