Another manga / anime game for Sony's console.

A PlayStation 3 game adapation of manga and anime series Rozen Maiden is in development for a fall release in Japan, this week’s Dengeki reveals.

The magazine makes no mention of a PS Vita version. And there doesn’t seem to be much information on the game either.

Thanks, Sokuho@Hokanko.

It’ll most likely be a VN.

Do you not press a button to continue in pretty much any game?

Haha, I think you mean you hate them because there is a 0% chance it’ll get localized.

Or maybe they just hate games with a lot of text, lol.

I don’t understand all the hate for Visual Novels, Adventure games, or games like Heavy Rain. Don’t get me wrong, VNs are low budget, but they often are much better written than pretty much any type of game (apart from a few exceptions), or anime for that matter. In addition to the obvious (visual) they offer over books, they offer music (actually this is the biggest difference to me personally, as most VNs have music on a frequent basis) and choices which really sets them apart from manga, and in the majority of cases, they have more detailed exposition and narration than anime.

A good VN has the memorable kind of story that I expect when I play RPGs, (but rarely experience) but are far more consistent in that regard. Granted, most VNs are too verbose, especially when it comes to character exposition, but compared to grinding, I don’t mind that much.

The dating sim elements that put many off aren’t necessarily present in every VN, either.

Granted, the writing is not going to be Shakespeare or anything, but I find them very entertaining, and if they were localized more frequently, I would consider them to be a good alternative to RPGs if you want more story.

I’m not familiar with this specific series, but I’ve enjoyed a lot of science fiction VNs (and there are tons of them too).
