    That is, err… fantastic.

First I thought “what about Lord of Vermilion?”, but that’s only available on arcade systems, right? Wonder how well this will do on the Vita…

    • MosquitoLemon

They could do it on Vita like they did San Goku Shi Taisen on DS

Actually Lord of Vermilion Re:N, a smartphone port of the original LoV, would be candidate for a Vita port. http://www.square-enix.co.jp/mobile/etc/lov/

WOW is Square-Enix finally pulling their head out of their Ass and turning around to Fix their Fuck-ups. If so then this could be a big change since their days at SquareSoft before Hironobu Sakaguchi, Tetsuya Takahashi, and Nobuo Uematsu left.

How is this fixing their fuck-ups? It’s a port of a micro-transaction game, the only difference is that the system it’s on isn’t complete garbage.

Maybe its time to make a Dissidia Game for PS3/PS Vita

      YES!

    Go SE!

    I’ll check out a demo

Really hope to see more SE support. FFX is nice, though it’d be cool to see what they can do with the Vita hardware exclusively (Dissidia would be great).

Ah…so this is the extent of Square Enix support…alright. One small step at a time.

This move honestly just looks like SE wants to purge some quick funds and stats from the VITA. Not sure what they will do after. (And after FFX HD)

SEGA ported out Samurai and Dragons (SEGA’s own f2p card game) on VITA – which was a slightly upgraded from the iOS version- than SEGA release PSO2 for VITA. So it could be a good experiment for SE.

Oh, and there were rumors of FFXI coming to VITA

I’d be thrilled if FFXI made it, for real. Call it FFXI HD to continue the trend and get all expansions up digitally. Then…if we could get FFXII HD…ah but that last part seems like a dream.

  • PrinceHeir

    okay :

Is the mobile version even out worldwide? I’d actually give it a shot if they localized it. I like card games, but F2P ones are iffy given the nickel and diming.

When square enix are going to release FFIV & V for android ? They released those to iOS but not android ? Why ?

  • OverlordZettaMK2

I’ve thought all along this kind of game would be perfect for Vita. With trophy support and constant events and such like the real games.
We just need to, y’know, get it overseas.
