Normally I would watch this, but I’m kind of on media blackout on this game right now. So I’m gonna try to avoid it. :p

I think I’ll follow your example from now on. A game like this, with a heavy emphasis on story and narrative, is best when experienced for the first time :)

    Omg what… what?!

    Wow… that really was something..

Wow, that was really interesting, indeed. However, the demo has way too much screen-tearing. For a cinematic game, I think image quality should have much higher priority than input latency here and I truly am expecting the final game to feature hard V-sync with triple-buffering. Well, that was the only complaint I have at the moment, the rest was pretty darn amazing, really.

I concur. Heavy Rain’s screen-tearing was mildly annoying but not overly intrusive so I coped with it. I’m gonna be massively disappointed if the final code ships with an unlocked frame-rate as I really can’t stand screen-tearing. It mars the experience and in this game, highly cinematic by default, it’s a major bummer.

I remember reading that last E3 there were two builds shown. One with screen-tearing and another v-synced one with more frame rate drops. I don’t mind the lower frame-rate as the tearing has to go.

So if that’s what QD can achieve on PS3, what will they be able to pull off on PS4? Mind blown.

hopefully seamless conversation choices without onscreen prompts (like a pre-established “hit X to agree/do. hit Triangle to disagree/not do. Hit circle to be honest or demand.. Hit square to lie or pursuade

how do you imagine that – a list, like The Witcher, a circle dial like ME/DA?
the current system works just fine ;)

He just said – have pre-established commands which you press whenever someone in-game interacts with you.

He said he wants seamless conversation choices without the on-screen prompts -_-

it’s nice in theory but once you forget the assignment, or if there are only 2 choices it won’t work. it’s just fine the way it is. it looks stylish and it’s clear what the character will respond.

    Film festival? :o

Did they stop calling it a game?
