I want to see that “aggressive” marketing again.

This is pretty much confirms PS4 lol. And technically their first step into gaming was the SNES add-on that got canceled….er…transferred to the PS1 hardware.

Yup, although most of the tech was new but certainly, the Play Station was the origin of the idea behind Sony entering gaming in a serious way. Interesting that’s hardly ever mentioned officially.

Who ever thought 16 years ago that PlayStation will be Sony’s most enduring brand and not their TV sets?

The PS1 is definitely my most loved console. Spyro, Final Fantasy, Crash, Bust A Move, Coolboarders, Tekken, Pacman, Mass amounts of JRPGs, MegaMan, MGS. All of those precious memories and experiences.

Megaman Legends 1 and 2 rocked my socks non stop!

I liked the N64, but the PS1, oh boy, what a great console.
