So on Wii U, Xbox, PS4 and Vita then? Or maybe PS3, PS4, and PSV? I’m not really the type for SRPGs, but I really liked what I played of Rainbow Moon. They did a great job with it, so I’ll keep my eyes peeled for this.

A next-gen release is totally possible. I wonder why they’d announce this so early, though. Late 2014 is about a year and a half from now. And this will likely be a download game. You don’t normally see that for download titles.

Yea, I’m not really sure why they’d announce this so far ahead. Perhaps to gauge interest before deciding on exactly what platforms to bring it to? I mean, the original was on PS3, so I think PS3 and Vita would be givens, but a year and a half from now?

If that’s the case, they’ll likely be handling each version themselves. Otherwise, I really can’t see why they’d announced a downloadable game so far ahead. Unless they’ve just got some huge ambitions lol.

          Thanks for your feedback.

We’ve been working on Rainbow Skies for around six months already. We wanted to get the word out early, so we can keep our fans updated on the development status frequently.

All the programming is done in-house and we are just a small team, so things take a while…

Good luck, I look forward to hearing more!

Platforms aren’t decided yet, we will have an update later this year. We won’t rule out a PS4 version at some time though…
