New Batman Arkham game due this year

Warner Bros. is planning the release of a new Batman Arkham game this year, the publisher announced during its Q4 2012 financial results hearing.

“And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise,” said Warner.

According to VG247 sources, Rocksteady Studios, the developer behind the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, is not developing this new title.

Last month, fifteen domain registrations were discovered to be registered by Warner as potential new Batman titles, including Batman: Arkham Universe and Batman: Arkham Arises.
