Mother 3 and Fantasy Life developer Brownie Brown has changed its name to 1-UP Studio, it has announced.
The studio, established in 2000, is a Nintendo subsidiary and has co-developed games like Super Mario 3D Land. In order for the company to better focus on the titles they’re developing in cooperation with Nintendo, a change in structure has been decided. Due to this change, Brownie Brown has changed its name to 1-UP Studio, and the company will restart.
On March 31, the official website for Brownie Brown will be taken offline.
