Monster Hunter 4 third trailer

Capcom debuted a new trailer for Monster Hunter 4 during a 3DS-focused Nintendo Direct this morning. The game is due out this summer in Japan.

    Damn it, for some reason I just want a new MH for next-gen consoles (powered by Panta Rhei) so, so bad.

      here’s hoping that the MH franchise comes back to it’s root systems for Monster Hunter 5, I agree it would look amazing on the Panta Rhei.

        can’t help it, hardware limitations. But then again, the same company had brought us Bio Revelations, no ugly, washed out textures there -_-

          The fact that the 3DS has to render twice in one screen… I know MH isn’t a graphic household name but it’s ridiculous to see how a MH game for the 3DS managed to look worse than 6 years ago..

            Especially as Revelations is still the best looking 3DS game, with vastly superior textures to MH4. Rev also has to render two images at once so I quite honestly do not get it. Not interested in the game anyways, it simply puzzles me why it looks so bad.

              I’m think MH4 being more open-world than the previous entries to be problem… Having to downgrade the graphics to accommodate content is the most logical reason I can think of…

    cool trailer, this MH4 looks intriguing to say the least. the sand snake leviathan looks like an interesting opponent. The elder dragon at the end reminds me of MH Frontier’s Raviente.
