Free downloadable quests to be added post-release.

The Wii U version of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will add cross-region online play between North American and European servers via a software update in late April, Capcom has announced.

Additionally, the update will allow players to play the game off-screen using the Wii U GamePad.

Capcom will continue supporting Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate in the months following release with additionally free downloadable quests, the first of which will be available at launch.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will launch for Wii U and 3DS in North America on March 19 and in Europe on March 22. A demo is currently available on the eShop.

I thought they was going to add Japan to that ;/
    A dream deferred…

HAHA, did you think the Japanese want to play with everyone? Every online game experience I’ve ever had with the Japanese speak against htat.

Besides, North American players would have no way of communicating with the Japanese players since there’s no Japanese language input for the NA Wii U.

You almost messed up Capcom…… Glad you didn’t and decided to give us cross region multiplayer.

Gotta say, GOOD JOB CAPCOM (Y).
