If you had to choose between PS3 and Vita, play FF10 on PS3 fo’ sho. It is a beautiful game to begin with, which will be made further beautiful in HD, that deserves to be looked upon and explored on the largest screen possible.

I agree with a lot of you guys. FFX is the best Final Fantasy. I can’t wait for the release. Pretty pumped about this upcoming new information, but I’m worried they are just gonna be like, “the countdown begins”, and it doesn’t come out for another year. I’m crossing my fingers for Feb or March.

X is my favourite too. I love FFVI, VII, and IX – but nothing quite does it for me like the incredible setting of FFX.

If you can tolerate XIII, you will LOVE X-2, because it doesn’t suck.

Im sure Shemue II is good i mean i played Yakuza 3, 4 and dead souls so i kinda get the idea but yeah i don’t think Shemue 2 would be my fav out of the blue.

“Some” yes, every game has “some dark plots” i know every ins and outs of FFX and if you compare it to VII it looks and feels like a paradise except some story plots obviously this is a FF game.

However FFVII has alot of deep dark plots, the first mission you start, the first 10 min of the game already shows you some dark story how the planet is being drain out and you start on defending it and basicly going on a war

SPOILER ->!!!! and this is the only light story xD not to mention Sephiroth, his and main characters dark past, not to mention a HUGE meteor trying to destroy the earth iteself i mean dude, Sin in X and the sad realization of Tidus is nothing compared to how dark the FFVII is also how one of your best frinds Zack died, not to mention how Aerith dies..yes FFX is dark lol.. SPOILER END!!

Horrible story. All FF’s have been bad from X on. Bad stories. Only X and X-2 had good battle engines that’s it.

And herein lies my problem with these remasters: the textures. No matter how much you up the resolution, the textures are still crappy and the polygon count is still low and the animation frames are still jumpy and look like the fast forward button is always on.
FFX HD would have benefit more from being a full on remake than a remaster; same as how Dragon Quest VII is getting a full remake as did Dragon Quest Terry’s Wonderland.
