"It's one of the big ones," teases Guillermo del Toro.

Guillermo del Toro’s inSANE is not dead. After THQ dropped the title for financial reasons, the game was announced to be continuing development at a new studio. In a Toronto Sun interview, del Toro teases he is currently “in talks” with a “big company” about the game’s publishing.

“We are in talks with a very, very big company. I can’t say who, but it’s one of the big ones. They really responded to the game, they responded to what we were trying,” said del Toro.

“Some of the devices of the game I need to update, because now I’ve seen them in other games that just came out. That always happens. But the principle we’re trying to do with the game is to make it a really immersive narrative experience. It’s still a really challenging proposal.”

inSANE was originally announced for a 2013 release. Its new date is currently TBA.

Thanks, VG247.

It’s likely Activision or EA (Even though I’m hoping it’s Sony).

I second that. This is a game that Sony would most likely support so I genuinely hope they secured it. EA most likely won’t. They don’t like to support new IPs as they’re not financially viable that late in the console cycle. Ubisoft would make sense but I really hope it’s Sony.

NO not Activision, i hope to god its not Activision or EA. Rather one of the big 3 or Ubisoft.

Since @gematsu-05c7ac946880ad7eed28166b478c7277:disqus already guessed the two biggest, I’m gonna guess Ubisoft.

Oooh that’s a good one. Or Square-Enix, they did snatch up Sleeping Dogs and all.

My bets will be on EA, who will likely destroy the next two games of this trilogy but leave this alone.

I’m hoping that it’s Square Enix though, since they help their developers without forcing them to pull stupid stunts.

I remember when this was announced and a 2013 release date was so far away. xD

Actually I was thinking Square Enix now that they won’t hesitant on studios like Eidos…

I’m having “some” doubts on Sony since they are kinda busy with their first party games being in development right now…
