Atlus to host weeklong Pure White World Tendency event.

Atlus is bringing Demon’s Souls to PlayStation Network next Tuesday, January 8 for $19.99, it has announced.

To celebrate the game’s digital release, Atlus will host a Pure White World Tendency event for one week starting January 8 and ending January 14. This will make the game easier, spawning enemies with decreased HP, attack power, and defense, and allow players to deal greater damage. A rare occurrence in Demon’s Souls, Pure White Tendency should be a warm welcome to new players.

Demon’s Souls initially launched for PlayStation 3 in North America on October 6, 2009.

    Some good pricing on PSN.

Still haven’t beaten the game myself… no time! But I got pretty far, enjoyed it a heck of a lot, more than $60 bucks worth thats for sure.

Oh how Sony dropped the ball with this one by not securing the western publishing rights even though it was an exclusive. Glad to read more people can enjoy it now =)

They didn’t drop the ball, they just respect that From Software didn’t want to make an exclusive deal with Sony with Dark Souls.

can’t comment on that as my recollection is a little bit different from yours. letting it rest as it is as I’m too lazy to look it up.

Personally, I wouldn’t want anything to do with a publisher that just impulsively thinks the game I make isn’t worth localizing for Western audience…

Really, if SCEI were more welcoming, I’d think that the Souls series would still be exclusive to the PS3.

    Awesome price, agreed @gematsu-645098b086d2f9e1e0e939c27f9f2d6f:disqus.

If you don’t already own this, and you don’t buy it now that it’s easily available, you’re most likely a terrible person. ;D
