Yokai Watch comic hits CoroCoro next month
Plus, two screenshots and five new artworks of the 3DS game.

Level-5 will begin publishing a Yokai Watch comic in monthly Japanese publication CoroCoro Comic starting December 15.

Yokai Watch is Level-5′s new cross-media property about a boy named Keta and his ghost buddy Whisper. A 3DS game is planned for 2013.

This post is actually just an excuse to share some artworks and two new screenshots of the 3DS game. See them at the gallery.

    Hold up. Is that a screen shot from the game? Ugh. I didn’t know about this.

    Judging from the other screenshot, they took a totally different graphical approach for the game. The older version looked so nice :/

       That was before they even announced the system it would be on. The game has the same style, but in a technical aspect it doesn’t look as good.

        IIRC, wasn’t it first announced as a Vita game? Or at least that’s what the rumors were. I guess they didn’t forsee the Vita to do so badly. Either way, I’m still disappointed. The 3DS could have pulled off the old style, just at a lower resolution of course.

        I’m sure I’ll still like the game(if it gets localized).
