Latest behind-the-scenes reveals original instrument used in the game's score.

After a two month-long hiatus, Square Enix has released “The Sound of Survival,” part three in Tomb Raider‘s ‘Final Hours’ web series.

This time, host Zachary Levi takes viewers to the British Academy of Film and Television Arts London headquarters and speaks to Jason Graves, who is penning the original score for Tomb Raider, about his role in the upcoming reboot. Graves has previously been recognized by the academy for his work in Dead Space 2. You’ll also get a look at an instrument custom made for Graves by sculptor Matt McConnel to assist in his scoring Tomb Raider.

I love when the Audio guys get to talk about how they make music in games, absolutely fun to see their creativity in action. Looking forward to Tomb Raider next year also. Geez, 2013 Q1 is a nightmare…what a way to go out gen wise.

The nerve of them touting “survival” meanwhile just days ago we find out this game now has auto regen like most casualized FPS this gen. Even though the game promotes hunting wild life for food….auto regen. Really?

I must admit, the auto regenerating health and the apparent lack of being able to swim has put me off this game.
