Phantasy Star Online 2 PS Vita Japanese release date set

The PlayStation Vita version of Phantasy Star Online 2 will launch in Japan on February 28, 2013, Famitsu reveals this week. It will be available both a free download, or as a “Special Package” retail edition for 5,229 yen.

PS Vita and PC users will be able to play together on the same server, and PC version characters, items data, and accounts can also be shared with the PS Vita version.

The “Special Package” version of the game will include two costume sets, three weapon sets, a Mag evolution device, ornament stickers, a music disc, a 30-day premium set, and a FUN1000 acquisition ticket.

    Wow I really hope this comes stateside. Only other game I played was PSP2, and it was one of the best games I may have ever played. It’s just such an enjoyable party-experience; I would gladly dedicate years to this badboy.
