A second Grand Theft Auto V trailer will be released before November 5, if leaked notices sent out to retail employees are accurate.
“This is an exciting time for us here at Rockstar games as we have just released the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto V and are looking forward to officially kicking off the pre-order campaign,” reads the notice.
It goes on to say, “On November 5, customers will be able to pre-order Grand Theft Auto V,” essentially confirming the new trailer’s release before pre-orders begin.
Here are some shots of the same notice sent to employees of separate stores:
And speaking of pre-orders, it looks like one of the pre-order bonuses is a telescope photo viewer keychain. Retail employees have taken shots of the several images you can see by looking through the viewer, revealing a new batch of Los Santos locations. They include: the Zancudo River, Grapeseed (farms?), Vinewood Hills, Vespucci Canals, and the Del Perro Pier.
Additionally, it appears pre-orders also include a free poster.
Thanks, GTAForums.
Update: Game Informer has posted high-res versions of the pre-order posters.
Update 2: Rockstar has confirmed it is working on a second trailer, but that Hurricane Sandy has pushed back its release.
“We are working on a second trailer,” it said, “unfortunately Hurricane Sandy has derailed our plans somewhat but we will have something to show soon. Its hard to be precise as we have no power whatsoever in our New York office. We hope everyone else in affected areas is doing okay.”
