Discover ghosts, become friends, and clear quests.

Level-5 has launched the official site for Yokai Watch, its upcoming 3DS game and cross-media property.

The site details protagonist Keta, an 11-year-old boy with a relatively positive personality. Whisper, his ghost buddy, suddenly appears from a gacha ball and introduces him to the ghost world. The site also details sub-characters Kuma, Kanchi, and Fumi-chan, and features profiles for some of the game’s various ghosts.

Also shown is Sakura New Town, where the game is set. By using your watch, you’ll be able to detect hidden ghosts, assist them in quests, and fight with them in battle.

Visit the site here.

Note: Since Level-5 International America’s website refers to the game as Yokai Watch over Youkai Watch, we’ll be doing the same.

Did Level-5 America done any localization yet?
I hope they set it up for a reason, i.e. localizing Level-5 Japan’s game

Edit: Looks like Pokémon, I see Muk, Dunsparce, Teddiursa, Lotad, Bakemon, Jijimon and Babamon.

Sadly Level 5 likes to trademark what seems like a name for localization but never follows through.

Indeed, that’s why we get Liberation Maiden, Crimson Shoud, Air Porter this year and Ninokuni in January…
