The next game from Super Meat Boy developer Team Meat is Mew-Genics, “a game about cats… kinda.”

The project, as the studio’s Edmund McMillen describes it, is “totally out of the left field” and the “strangest project” he’s ever worked on. But strange or not, “Mew-Genics will be the next official Team Meat game.”

Details are currently slim, but it will be “randomly generated, strange, and involve cats.” Further gameplay details, platforms, and screenshots should be shared “soon,” as development is “moving quite fast.”
