Dead Island: Riptide, Deep Silver‘s followup to 2011’s Dead Island, will launch for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on April 23, 2013 in North America and on April 26 in the rest of the world, the publisher has announced.
Additionally, Deep Silver has announced two special editions. The Pre-Order Edition includes “an exclusive pack of weapon mods that allows even more, manifold ways to dispose of the ghastly zombie hordes on Palanai island.” The Special Retailers Edition, available only at “selected retail partners,” includes an exclusive alternate character skin “not obtainable anywhere else” and alternate box art.
