Sega reveals Project Omega to be Demon Tribe
Source code hints at Wii U, PS Vita, and PSP release.

“Fight as demons, fight until the death.”

The countdown is over and the teaser site for Sega’s new title Demon Tribe has opened. It was previously teased as Project Omega and was premiered in Sega’s Apps section of their TGS 2012 presentation.

Not much is known about the title, other than that it’s an action game involving characters who transform into demons to fight. Platforms have not been announced, however, the source code of the site mentions the following platforms: Wii U, PlayStation Vita, and PSP.

    I can kinda understand Vita/Wii U with touch screens and all.

    Kinda weird for the PSP to be there. Would’ve expected 3DS instead.

      PSP and Vita are something very common, nobody said it will use the touch screen. The weird one here is the Wii U.

        Nobody said it wouldn’t use the touch screen either. 

        Rumors were going around that there were going to be many Vita and Wii U multiplats on the way. The PSP is the weird one of the bunch.

          No, there are several games that are getting launchs for PSP and PSVita simultaneosly, like Time Travelers or Gods Eater 2, that’s the fact.

          You were talking about rumors, and you don’t have other games to support this.

            That is very true, there are PSP/PSVita games.

            And I don’t have any facts to back up my rumors. But all the same, if this does come out to be a PSP/PSVita/Wii U game it gives credit to those rumors.

    Vita and Wii U? Interest re-piqued (since the game being Demon Tribe was already spoiled for me).

    Thats certainly an…..eye catching title picture. I sincerely hope the game doesn’t end up as fanservice-y as that pic suggests.

    Vita and PSP will most probably have cross-play. That will be a huge selling factor in Japan at least.
