Director says he'll do his best on the continuation.

Gravity Rush was given the game of the year award today at the Tokyo Game Show’s Japan Game Awards. Naturally, fans of the game flocked to director Keiichiro Toyama’s Twitter account to say congratulations.

“Congratulations! Looking forward to a sequel,” said one fan.

“Thank you! I’ll do my best on the sequel” responded Toyama.

Another fan, to clarify, asked if that meant a sequel was in development. Toyama responded, “It’s a secret.”

Gravity Rush first launched for PlayStation Vita this February in Japan. It debuted in North America and Europe four months later.

Thanks, Hachima Kikou.

I guess he has full awareness of the kind of people who would enjoy the game.

My game of the year so far is Journey. I like and own Gravity Rush though.

    • FaithlessMr

Journey is one of these games anyone should enjoy. It’s amazing!

Great news since the ending was pretty lackluster and didn’t answer any of the questions the game started off with. Looking forward to it.

    Wonderful! well done!

Yesss. Loved the game immensely, but I’m going to need some answers on the story. Had to be the most abrupt ending I’ve ever seen in a game. You expect there to be a bit more to explain some things and then… credits. So I’d love to see what Toyama does with the story for a sequel.

    congrats Keiichi Toyama :P

though i would want another Siren game that is more scarier than Silent Hill or the old games.

or a remake of Forbidden Siren 2 would be nice :)

        • KurisuMakise

Yes, this is quite true. Corpse Party looks good on DAT OLED too <3 But I want those 3D models and all =( I'd even be okay with RE Vita or something xD Hmm, guess I'll get Book of Memories to show the market is worth it.
