Media Molecule has a second project in the works alongside Tearaway, its Tuesday-announced PlayStation Vita game.
A team of fifteen are currently working on the PS Vita project, with Rex Crowle and David Smith at its head. But what of the other 25+ working at Media Molecule?
“We’re working on a second project right now, and that’s very much in an R&D phase,” Media Molecule’s Mark Healy told Eurogamer.
“The focus is Tearaway, but Media Molecule is a lot more than 15 people,” added studio co-founder Alex Evans.
“We call it in a holding pattern,” he continued, “because the focus is on Tearaway. I’m not saying that from a press angle – our focus is on Tearaway and making it awesome. The other project is very much in an early stage and is a toy. You don’t need to worry about it.”
A release date for Tearaway has yet to be announced.
