Go behind the scenes of the latest Assassin's Creed.

Ubisoft has released the first episode in a four-part “Inside Assassin’s Creed III” mini-series, where it looks behind the scenes at the game’s development, its new setting, new assassin, and new technology, and features commentary from some of Ubisoft Montreal’s key developers. Watch it below.

Hype level back to 100% once again!!
On an other note, is it me, or there’s this part they showed that was in the frontier demo, but seems to have gotten a graphics/ lighting boost?

That was a very impressive video. I’m looking forward to watching the upcoming episodes.

I’m impressed how far Ubi have progressed with their engine. This is the first AC game on consoles that doesn’t show any screen-tearing on consoles. While all the earlier AC games stuck closely to their 30 fps target, screen-tearing kicked in when the engine was under stress.

In AnvilNext the scale seems much bigger, there are way more characters on screen, terrain is more diverse than ever and the overall visuals are beautiful.
At least now I’m certain that that extra money Ubi made with Brotherhood and Revelations was well spent.
Somehow I’m more excited for ACIII: Liberation than ACIII proper. I assume it’s because the Vita game features a female Assassin and a very convincing reason to buy a Vita this holiday season.

It’s commendable that Ubi support new hardware (WiiU and Vita) while still providing high-quality AAA entertainment for current platforms.
FarCry 3 shouldn’t be dismissed either, that one looks mental. I’m buying it just for Vaas, he’s one seriously effed up, yet charismatic antagonist.
