Microsoft has sent out a new “Making Of” video for Halo 4, showing the game’s design, sound, mo-cap, and other departments at work. Watch the clip below.

Halo 4 is due for Xbox 360 on November 6.

    When I see this I dont see halo,I see Cryisis,Killzone and Section 8 with a little Metroid in there…sad day to be a halo fan

      It looks pretty solid for a halo sequel made by an unproven dev team.

      I am just at the point where every games convention that goes by, more halo, fable, forza and gears news is just meh meh meh.

      Same old. Wash rinse repeat.
      Every games convention that goes by has new Nintendo, and New Sony games, exclusives, IP’s and MS just continues to dial it in with the same fecking 4 franchises.
      So over it.
      As a HUGE Halo fan and collector I simply can’t muster any genuine excitement for yet another entry in the franchise.
      Same with Mario or Ratchet and Clank. Enough is enough. At least Ninty and Sony continue to expand their portfolios while MS continues to shrink and yet they continue to get a free pass.

      I imagine I feel towards Halo like a pron star feels towards teh S3X. After awhile its just work and not quite as fun or exciting as it once was.

        The thing is it doesnt look like halo,and they are taking inspiration from everything but halo it seems,and they seem to have no respect for the series :(

          To be fair, it is a new team. Maybe they can take the stale Halo formula and make it fresh again. Maybe.

            Nah they are taking way to much from cod and other stuff like that :(

            By doing that the lost way too much of halos core principles.like balance when you start or map control etc.

              I understand.

              I would suggest, as 1 halo fan to another that you try it out in some way shape or form before writing it off considering it is a game in a franchise you love. It may surprise you.

              Its not like Fable which has always been trash and now someone is trying to get you to try LoLFable the urinal. Er….the Journey.

              I mean if you always hated halo then I wouldnt expect u to consider playing the newest entry. Much like I feel about fable.

              But, since like me you have enjoyed Halo as a series (although ODST was gutter trash) I would at least suggest trying a friends copy or renting it for a weekend.

              Of course Dr. Forbidden may march in here and tell me that Gaara Dragon says to skip Halo 4, DMC, and any other game that tries something new and his opinion is completely validdddddzorz!

              This is something people dont get about me….I do indeed despise MS as a HW manufacterer and on a company policy level as I think they only exist to profit for themselves and stagnate the industry they are trying to bleed dry.
              However, I absolutely keep an open mind to the games in genres I have previously enjoyed and sometimes to genres I hate.
              For instance this gen got me to enjoy sandbox games in many instances where as until recently I have despised the genre. Never found it fun.

              Naruto on xbox had sandbox elements, then Batman AA, then infamous 1, and recently Batman AC. All games I completely loved but last gen I would have totally hated.

              I hope Halo 4 is good. I hope the next Gears is good. Two series of MS’ only 4 that I enjoy. I wont buy the HW to play them again but I will find a friend to play them with.

              If you read thru all that…..I am simply saying, just b/c changes are afoot, dont count out a game in a series you love. Change is inevitable as devs move on and publishers try to keep their series relevant, and fresh.
              I would hate to be like Gaara Dragon and write off a game in a series I have loved b/c my panties are in a wad over art direction.

              Who am I though. As a gamer for nearly 30 years having beaten 100′s of games and owning 100′s more in my collection, obviously I know little about the industry I have been a part of since the mid 80′s. Ha.

                I agree with you. I think giving Halo 4 a shot is more than fair.

                I’m planning on checking it out when the game is released, and I’m really hoping it turns out to be great. I have always loved Bungie and I’m a bit worried about a new team taking over…If they treat the franchise the same way Bungie did, then hopefully it will turn out ok.

                Also, I liked ODST. We don’t have to agree on everything, no big deal. =)
