Ys: Foliage Ocean in Celceta screenshots
New characters, town, and attacks.

The latest set of Ys: Foliage Ocean in Celceta introduce two new characters, one new town, and several new attacks.

Frida, age 23, is a warrior woman and storyteller from Danan. Nina, age unknown, is a talkative fairy. Danan, the new area, is known as the village of history. One of the screenshots shows a library built up with walls of books.

New attacks shown in the images include a close-range knife slash for Adol, a direct blow attack for Dulen, and ranged knife throw for Kaana. Special skills shown include “Aoi Goku Nami” (Blue Prison Wave) for Ozma, “Gold Mecca” for Canlilica, and “Ringatsudan” (Phosphorus Moon Judgement) for Frida.

      Nothing announced yet. But given XSEED’s history with Ys and its partnership with Falcom, I think it’s likely we’ll see this stateside.

        I have all the Y’s games released in NA sans any made for PC if ever but I wonder, have there not been a couple o’few or two that have released recently in JPN that have not made it stateside?

          I’m honestly not sure – I haven’t followed the series that much. I’ve always wanted to check out Ys: The Ark of Napishtim, though, lol.

          Ys Origin just came out on PC a month or two ago. It’s on Steam. I’ve heard good things, so I’d suggest you try it! ;)

      Oooooooo are you getting a white Vita?
      I plan on buying the AC bundle to get the white Vita as my main and hand over my black 3G model to the wife or kid.
