Publisher confirms reductions in statement.

Warner Bros. has confirmed that its Washington studio, WB Games Seattle, has been hit with a number of layoffs.

“Due to shifting business imperatives, WB Games Seattle has made staff reductions,” said the publisher in a statement. “The group will continue to remain an integral part of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.”

Rumors of layoffs first sprung up through (where else?) Twitter, when 3D Realms founder George Broussard tweeted, “Another Warner Brothers layoff going on as we speak. In progress now. Shame. Hope people land safely.” A source close to the studio then confirmed the reports to Joystiq.

    Shifting business imperatives?

Typical corporate speak for: the owners don’t want every day people effecting their bonuses or country club lifestyles with silly things such as feeding their families and paying their mortgages.
We wish them the best in their future endeavors.

I understand its all about the bottom line. I just cant stand them trying to church it up.
Admit it, profits are down and sh** rolls downhill so we are firing the people at the bottom.
Peace and chicken grease you pathetic beggars.

Just come correct or dont say anything at all. We live in a country full of two faced liars that think political correctness is humane when in truth its the most dishonest practice ever concieved.
