And we get a release date before we get to actually see a trailer with gameplay? Somethings very wrong with that picture.

Although I dont care, like I said earlier, I just want this to be localized, cuz I’ll play the game for the art alone, evne if the gameplay was crappy :P

    This Oct ?!!

OMG is So Fast…i think the Game is So Short like FF XIII-2

Hope the game will be released in English by early next year. My PS3 collection has very few good RPGs at the moment.

You should look more closely then, there are many.
Tales of Graces F, all 3 Atelier’s, an AR Tonelico, A couple FF’s, Eternal Sonata, Folklore, Nier, Agarest war Zero and Part 2, along with a certifiable crapton on PS1 classics on PSN.
Theres many I missed as well.
Looking forward to many in the next 12 months too.

I’d say the PS3 has been the go to place for JRPG’s this gen. Especially the last 3 years.

I know Wii has Xenoblade and soon Last Story.
I know 360 has Vesperia, LO, BD, IU, and MC2.

I know the PSP and DS are covered up in them.

That said….for JRPG fans the future still looks very bright with PS3.
Ni no kuni being my most anticipated game next year.

Ni no Kuni looks amazing (an interactive Studio Ghibli Animation) and the game- and battle system seems deep enough to engage RPG veterans as well as Ghibli fans.

That was fast I hope the U.S. release isn’t too far off.

I am guessing Oct. next year, so in 2013. Localizations take time after all.

A tweet from this morning: https://twitter.com/toki_towa_TOKI/status/225221889881149440

“A Tokitowa article will come in Weekly Famitsu 07/19. There are also plans to update the official site. I hope we’ll be able to release a new video.”

That new vid was teased a week ago: http://gematsu.com/2012/07/toki-to-towa-update-coming-soon

So be patient, folks. I’m sure it’s coming soon!

I hope Mikage-san succeed in bringing this game to us.

Dammit, I was hoping that this was a localization annoucement. I hope that if they do decide to localize this game that they choose good VAs like Square Enix and Namco Bandai does.

I’m cautiously optimistic for this. They’ve been coy with how little gameplay footage they’ve released so far, and I’ve never touched an Imageepoch game at all (I don’t even think Europe received any of their games bar Luminous Arc 1 and 2?), while I’ve heard very mixed things about Arc Rise Fantasia.

I’m studying abroad in Tokyo this winter semester (09/01-02/28). Gonna buy me the Japanese copy and will share my thoughts on the game with you guys once I’ve finished it.
I love this interactive Anime feel of the game. The hand drawn HD sprites look gorgeous *drools*.
