Sony to announce two new games at Gamescom
Plus, a look at what they're bringing to the show.

Sony will make two new game announcements at Gamescom in Cologne next month, invitations to the company’s showcase have revealed. 

Additionally, the PlayStation manufacturer is bringing the following games to the show:

  • Assassin’s Creed III (PS3)
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified (PSV)
  • Dust 514 (PSN)
  • The Last of Us (PS3)
  • LittleBigPlanet (franchise update)
  • PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale (PS3, PSV)
  • Soul Sacrifice (PSV)
  • The Unfinished Swan (PSN)
  • Wonder Book: Book of Spells (PS3)

Sony will hold its Gamescom press conference on Tuesday, August 14 at 7:00 p.m. CEST (find your local time here).

      Hope it sticks to the future setting of Black Ops II, rather than the first game’s Cold War / World War II setting.

    So 1 multiplat game and then nothing but a list of exclusives including 2 more unnamed exclusives that no one knows about yet?

    Holy crap.

    I know the competition would have a list the exact opposite. They’d have 1 exclusive, 10 multiplats and no new announcements. This is quite relevant to gaming in general but for aome reason I am going to get reamed for bringing it up b/c we arent allowed to talk about that kind of thing here.
    Truthfully it would be pretty ballsy for Gematsu to not only talk about it in comments but to actually write an article about how pathetic it is to have as much market share as the competition does and yet treat it so flippantly. Even more maddening….the fans that dont see the mire they are trapped in by holding the hand that holds both them and the industry down…or hostage, whichever you prefer. y.

    Pipe dream I know.
