Resident Evil 6: 20 minutes of Leon gameplay

Capcom has shared a new 20-minute, direct-feed, high-definition gameplay walkthrough of Resident Evil 6. The footage stars Leon and is apparently filled with a bit of spoilers. So beware, potential viewers! Watch the footage below.

    I’m sure they just could’t tell if the president was a zombie or just wanted to eat their brains for the fun of it.

    That hesitation was… lol. Some faux tension right there.

    You guys aren’t spoiling much by watching this. This was three minutes of a boring cutscene followed by ten minutes of slowly walking around the White House, which didn’t look that great, and then some underground parking lot shooting some generic zombies with all the gameplay you’ve seen before.

    Not much to get excited about either so far. Not sure what the globe trotting is going to do for Resident Evil. It seems less fun when you’re not alone getting jacked by Nemesis all the time, now that was awesome.

    Were the QTEs supposed to make it more exciting? Not sure why they added a QTE to a generic zombie. That worked with the bosses really well in RE4 and RE5, but what’s the point in scripting a bunch of closet pop outs and doing that…? Seems like it would be more fun if they would actually pose a threat than ‘press X to avoid and kill.’

    Not going to be dishonest here… that looked really boring.

    Nice gameplay. Leon is my favourite character in RE series, and I hope he will appear in more RE games.
