Ovan’s looking pretty beastly there. In fact this whole little mini game looks interesting

The graphics and gameplay both look really good. I have never played one of these games before, I might get this one!

@Miranda Lawson: The .hack games for the PS2 were RPG’s, and ones that I greatly enjoyed. This being a fighting game is new, but as I’m a .hack fan I’d like to get it for both the game and movie. Unfortunately, I’m still waiting for .hack//Link for PSP… ah Namco Bandai, you don’t disappoint.

I hope they go with a different art direction for the next RPG in the series. This is alright for a side game but the characters don’t look anything reminiscent of the TV shows or the previous games, most notably Tsukasa and Haseo.

I think CyberConnect2 went with a more realistic look but compromised some of the characters’ appearances.

They should make a new RPG and use this as the combat system.

Although the Ovan music sounds like something straight outta Ninja Storm, I frekin LOVE the music playing through the Tsukasa fight, it sounds completely different and sorta “Nights into Dreams” like :). I want this game! Namco make it happen, give us the game/movie hybrid, you have NO reason not to since its not a fully fledged RPG and you wont have anywhere near as much text to translate!

The combat looks a lot like Dissidia Final Fantasy’s combat system.
